The Power of Habit is a good listen from Audible.com. I will most definitely listen to it again. The author, Charles Duhigg, is a Pulitzer prize winner for the New York Times, I enjoyed listening to this book. It was about how habits are formed, the effects they have on us, how to recognize the cues that signal a habit and so on.
If you are curious about how habits are formed or how to recognize a habit loop, this book is definitely for you. Charles Duhigg wrote about habits in different facets of life. Safety habits in the workplace. How a smoker quite smoking to take a trip to the desert, and that affected so many other parts of her life, it changed the way her brain looked drastically (according to brain scans).
A young woman walks into a laboratory. Over the past two years, she has transformed almost every aspect of her life. She has quit smoking, run a marathon, and been promoted at work. The patterns inside her brain, neurologists discover, have fundamentally changed.
It also goes into a way to find the cues and rewards, why we form habits, see the following video for an illustration of an example from the book
