Teacher’s Pet–ME??

Today’s Daily Post  asks about a teacher who has impacted my life, whether it be for the better or worse, and how my life is different because of that teacher.

It’s hard to pick one teacher, my mom has sung the praises of my seventh grade math teacher since I was in the seventh grade. That is because seemingly until that year, I had the hardest time with math. I can’t even begin to tell you what my problem with math was. Something happened in Mr. Russell’s math class, that made everything click. If it wasn’t for Mr. Russell, I don’t know if I would be able to understand the things I do now.

That being said, I have a specific admiration for a few of my high school teachers.

One of my favorite classes in college was World Literature with Dr. Sorenson. I had such a great time in her class, I learned that I love to read, and that I love to write. It was thinking about her class and the fun I had writing papers for her class, that made me want to start a blog, the only problem being that with an open assignment, deciding on what to write about is sometimes the biggest obstacle.

🙂 most definately. I found a paper I wrote in world lit comparing Epic Literature to modern drama….wow. Talk about delving deep into it. I miss writing like that.

🙂 I hadn’t thought about posting things like that on here. I guess that could be another project.
