I nailed this tag blanket pinterest project!

I recently made a tag blanket, a kind of fun tactile thing for babies. I made one for a friends baby, I will be making one for my little guy this weekend. It’s really easy to make and personalize.

I have loved embroidery and cross stitch, this is the first time I have embroidered something that will be used and not just hung on the wall to be something pretty. I embroidered the name on one side of the material.

I used this tutorial as inspiration. I did the embroidery on one side before I started on the other parts. I pieced the blanket together one evening while the baby slept.

I think it turned out very nicely, and the embroidery stood up to the washing machine. Not bad, if I say so myself!!!

I may do a few more of these, and maybe with a little practice I can get the process a little more streamlined.

I think with this pinterest project, I can say I NAILED IT!
