The story behind some of the custom items I have made.

I’m still fairly new to creating laser-cut ornaments, but it’s quickly become one of my favorite things to do. What I love most is the opportunity to create ornaments that tell a story—whether it’s celebrating a memory, marking a milestone, or symbolizing something meaningful. Each design feels personal, and seeing how much joy they bring to others is what inspires me to keep creating.

One ornament I made recently was for my cousin and his wife to celebrate their baby’s first Christmas. It was a beautiful and sentimental idea I had come across, and I knew I could bring it to life with my own touch. I’ll share a picture soon, but the experience of creating something so special for them sparked my love for turning meaningful moments into keepsakes.

Another memorable project was creating ornaments for my coworkers. I added a personal touch by coloring in the designs with markers, and it was so much fun to hand them out. Seeing their excitement and hearing their responses to something so unique was truly rewarding.

One of my coworkers had a sweet and creative request—he was planning to propose to his girlfriend and asked if I could make a Christmas ornament for her. He wanted a design that featured a honeycomb, a bee, and a rose, which I was thrilled to create. It felt amazing to know I was contributing in a small way to such a meaningful moment in their lives. on it.

Recently, I had the chance to try something a little different. A friend sent me a design for a door hanger she wanted, and I brought it to life using my laser cutter. It was a fun challenge working on something larger than my usual ornaments, and I loved the creative process of transforming her vision into a finished piece. Seeing how excited she was with the result made it all the more special!

I’ve also had a lot of fun creating other dog and sports-themed ornaments for coworkers and friends. Many of them wanted personalized designs for their kids or grandchildren who are involved in sports /activities like football, volleyball, and theatre. Each ornament featured their child’s name making it a unique keepsake to commemorate their time in the game or activity. These projects have been some of my favorites because they combine creativity with the excitement and pride families have for their young athletes.

Not long after that, a family member reached out on behalf of a friend who was also getting engaged, asking if I could design an ornament to commemorate the occasion. It’s incredible to see how ornaments can become a part of such special celebrations!

One of my favorite challenges came from a couple of coworkers who loved my dog-themed ornaments but wanted something even more personal. They asked if I could engrave pictures of their pups onto ornaments. I’d been wanting to try this technique for a while, so I jumped at the chance. It was so satisfying to see how much they loved the final designs, and it opened up a new creative avenue for me to explore.

Every ornament I create tells a story, and each one brings me so much joy. Whether it’s celebrating a new baby, an engagement, or a beloved pet, these ornaments are more than just decorations—they’re meaningful keepsakes that capture life’s special moments.
